Got it for model ship building and it's a fantastic tool but also great for cutting fingers if your not careful
I am generally veey pleased with the product. However, when cutting anything over 1mm thick, the cut ends up being at a slight angle and not perfectly square vertically. I have tried tightening the hinge and trying to twist the cutting arm while cutting. The cutter is so well made and robust that neither of these corrected the problem.
Except for the above, I am, however, impressed with the quality of this cutter. The robust all aluminum construction, precision angle and length guides, and cutting mat layout is impressive.
No more crooked lines. Can now make angle cuts Good product.
Great tool for kit building and dioramas
VERY high quiality.
I found that even using styrene strip .060 thick that I still had a nice, square cut on the end.
Very pleased with the finish of all the parts that make up this unit.
